Volleyball has different positions, scroll below to learn about a few main ones.
This is an overhand serve in volleyball. This is a little bit harder than an underhand serve, but if you go to a volleyball tournament, whoever is serving will most likely overhand serve.
This is called a set. Usually, you use this in volleyball when someone bumps the ball, you could set it and then someone can spike it to score.
This is called a bump. You can break your fingers if you hit it wrong. You're suppose to actually hit it with your forearm, but if you do hit it with your hands, and they are in the wrong position, this can lead to breaking your thumbs. You shouldn't lock your fingers together or tuck in your thumbs.
Volleyball is an awesome sport but it can cause many injuries. A possible injury is a finger injury, usually these are caused from blocking, digging or bumping the ball wrong. Another common injury is ankle sprains and ALC (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) these are both mainly caused by landing wrong after jumping to spike the ball.
